The End Of The World As I Knew it

The spreading light of the moon made the every life living around brave, right side of my face visible as I look out the window in horror thing with the sound didn't figure where come out. Buses tipped over, people running for safety, weird lights in the sky upon the air.   Though where did they think they were going to? They should have listened like season come and gone. But none that have meant so much as the right now. For this was to be the last one that any living thing on earth would had experienced.

     Of course the season of earth would still cycle the way that it did, nothing would change that. But with no living entity on the planet to watch it go by it would be as if it weren't really happening.

     The one tree knew of this, had foreseen it and knew deep down it was the right thing to happen. For it provided life to Mother Earth with the help of it's brethren across the world.

     In the beginning when the planet had slowly taken shape, Mother Earth  had awoken and with the help of the one tree, breathed life across the world and shaped and formed it to their liking. The world had been a beautiful place back then. Grass was vibrant and bright green, the air was so fresh and cool.

     Mountains, so tall and awe inspiring. And living creatures living in harmony with one another.

     But skip forward a few million years and the world had become a much dirtier and darker place. Grass was becoming much more faded and less, being slowly replaced by the invading dirty grey concrete. The air was not so fresh and with it, it carried toxins and disease. The mountains were not so awe inspiring and were taken over by colossal steel structures covered in glass, blocking fantastic sunset backdrops. And the worst of it were the living creatures, somehow intent on destroying one another by waging wars and mercilessly killing one another.

     That wasn't just the only problem. In more recent times, the tree had felt great loss. An unspeakable feeling which overcame it almost everyday. The tree's brethren across the world had communicated to it, through the roots, speaking of the humans tearing them down day by day.

     Confusion canstantly washed over the one tree, wondering why they would destroy the planet. The place that they inhabited. Draining the world of its natural resource's.

     Replacing natural for counterfeit. Mother Earth was displeased and hit back at them with earthquakes, hurricanes and anything else she could use. They had been given the best gift of all. Life. And the humans had abused this gift and so the decision had been made to end it all.

     The one tree had communicated this grave news to the rest of the world, unknowingly to the humans. And slowly all the tree's and plant's gave up its existence. Winter was coming early all over the world. The people started to panic.

     The followers of the one tree had gathered together,  on their knees, begging for forgiveness. The tree could feel that they were sorry, tears falling into the grass, soaking through its roots. But the decision had been made and the time had come to end all living things.

     And as the harsh cold winter enveloped the world, the sun's rays blocked by the growing fog, living creatures nearly extinct. The one tree was the last to stand. Millions and millions of years of sustaining the planet, forming and moulding the world in the vision provided by Mother Earth had been quickly destroyed by the humans.

     Mankind's reign had ended, never to return. And as the one tree thought over all these last thoughts, it too started to die off. It's branches started to lose its once green luscious leaves, the strong brown colour of its bark, now a faded mix of grey and brown. And as quickly as it had been given life, it had ceased to be. The planet now void of any life, ecause of the disease of mankind.

     May be one day Mother Earth would reawaken and once more the world would flourish.
